Michele and Dylan’s destination wedding at Piney River Ranch in Vail Colorado was an incredible experience, and it was an honor to document their story. Shortly after announcing our move to Crested Butte Colorado, the wedding planner (Haley of Platinum Weddings & Events) reached out to see if we were available to photograph this destination wedding near Vail Colorado the following summer. We have worked many weddings together over the years in the Austin hill country, so of course I jumped at the opportunity. Knowing what an amazing wedding this was going to be, I wanted to try something different and shoot medium format film, using a Contax 645. Film photography has been an interest of mine for years, and will offer the option to future wedding clients. Check back for the next post where I will share the film photos from this wedding.
