This is a fun wedding for me to write about since I had the opportunity to work with Lindsy and be the Day of Coordinator for the wedding! Lindsy and I would have phone calls throughout the planning months as she tied up all of the loose ends of her wedding from out of town. Everything could not have come together more beautifully for Lindsy + Austin’s outdoor Austin DIY wedding.
The theme of the wedding was “farmer’s market” since both Lindsy + Austin are regulars at local farmers markets in addition to loving to cook. Lindsy + Austin wanted their wedding to be very “them” and they definitely succeeded at the beautiful venue, Mercury Hall in Austin, TX. Another fun touch to their wedding was that guests enjoyed their meal in typical Austin fashion out of local food trailers. The trailers they had to choose from included: a favorite local burger joint, P. Terry’s, tacos from One Taco, or fresh made pizza from Crusty’s Brick Oven Pizza. Probably the most special part about the wedding were all of the incredible details that Lindsy + Austin spent so much time planning and creating to pull together their wedding theme. It was truly a special day to spend with this couple as they got married under the canopy of trees and celebrated with this incredibly unique reception. Enjoy the photos! -R
