Jake and Ally are two very close friends of mine, and they are getting married this Saturday in Rockwall, Texas which is east of Dallas. I expect the wedding to be a good time because I am bringing my dancing shoes and leaving my camera at home. This will be my first wedding in a while that I will not be focused on the photography, and I will able to enjoy my time with friends. Jake and Ally are both very talented singer/songwriters. They are scheduled to move to Michigan in January where they will begin seminary, with the hopes of one day planting a church among unreached people groups. Both are great examples of Christians that take the commandments of Jesus very seriously, and I expect to see great things to come from them in the future. My friend and fellow photographer Lauren Larsen photographed Ally’s bridal portraits in Dallas, Texas last week. I’m anxious to see the final images, as I’m certain she blew them out of the water. I’m happy for you both, and I’m looking forward to this weekend!
