This wedding has been a long time coming… Jason & Meredith have made an appearance or two on this blog in the past (Jason + Meredith Engagement) and when I was asked to be their wedding photographer in August, I was stoked! Jason and I have been friends since our freshman year together at Texas Tech University (yes, I used to be a Red Raider). We lived down the hall from each other at Murdough on the top floor, back before I even thought about photography and I had every intention of joining the Air Force. If you have followed this blog for long you probably already know that Jason is responsible for the development of my website, we don’t know where we would be without him so I was more than honored to be a part of their wedding, which was held at The Johnson House at Chestnut Square in McKinney, TX.
This was a really cool location, with a victorian setting that created a great atmosphere for the wedding. The reception was held at The Herd Craig Hall just down the street, and Aaron Kannowski of Uptown Sound did an incredible job as the Dallas wedding DJ hired for this event, and he also provided uplighting for the venue.
Myself, Daniel and Ryan had a blast shooting this wedding! Enjoy.
